Mesa Arch, Canyonlands National Park, Utah

“Morning Glory”
Limited Edition of 195 | Artist Proof 25

This precariously perched Entrada sandstone cliff-wall arch is one of the most popular features in the 337,280 acre (1,365 sq km) wilderness of red rock known as Canyonlands National Park, Utah. The arch is unique, having been formed on the exposed edge of a 500 foot (152 m) sheer cliff face by the erosion of softer rock strata above and below it.
